Beth N. M. Freimuth, MSW
    Dialectical Behavior Therapist    

Beth Freimuth has a Bachelors Degree in Philosophy and a Masters Degree in the Science of Clinical Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.  Beth has studied eastern philosophy and meditation for the past 17 years.  Beth is extensively trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy, including training from the founder of DBT, Dr. Marsha Linehan.  Beth has spent the past 7 years focusing on teaching DBT to individuals struggling with co-occurring disorders.  She specializes in transforming painful emotions through mindfulness and Dialectical Behavior Therapy skills.

She has worked in the mental health and dual diagnosis field for the past 12 years and combines her expertise in mindfulness and meditation with her specialty in DBT.  Beth teaches clients techniques that they can use for the rest of their lives to cope with difficulties and live happier lives.  Beth is deeply committed to working with individuals to decrease their suffering and increase their experiences of peace and joy.
