If you want to shake things up and help couples actually move, then spend a lunch hour with Lori Weisman on May 30th from 12:00-1:00. In this lunchtime talk, Lori will share the core distinctions behind a powerful two-day Couples Intensive model — based on the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy. Lori refined the work of Dr. Ellyn Bader and Dr. Peter Pearson into a successful 2-day intensive that is being used by clinicians all across the country.

Taken from her clinical wisdom and experience from over 200 intensives, she’ll pull back the curtain on: 1) Why couples intensives can create transformation that weekly sessions can’t; 2) How to guide partner’s out of self-protection and into tenderness using the “Vulnerability Circle” (you’ll learn the exercise and get the handout); and 3) How 2-day Intensives help you settle and feel more relaxed so deeper work can happen.

This isn’t about adding another modality to your list. It’s about working smarter — getting to the root faster, and helping couples fight for something instead of fighting about everything. It’s part inspiration, part hands-on, all real-world.

Lori Weisman, MA, LHMC is a relationship expert based in both Palm Desert, CA, and Bellevue, WA, who specializes in couples coaching, relationship intensives, and marriage intensives. She’s a seasoned relationship expert with extensive experience in helping couples navigate the complexities of their relationships. With a deep understanding of the intricacies of human connection, Lori has dedicated her career to providing guidance and support to couples in crisis. Her expertise spans a wide range of relationship issues, from communication breakdowns to infidelity, and she has a proven track record of helping couples find hope and a path forward.
