Presentation Description

This introductory workshop was created to support new and experienced therapists build and manage their private practices. Over 25 years, Larry has managed his own private practice and learned that the word “practice” means exactly that. Yet mistakes are an important part of learning. In this workshop, Larry will highlight steps that can benefit both newly licensed and experienced therapists. He will share legal clauses that can quickly save you grief and money to tips to increase your patient volume and a straightforward way to financially manage your business that will not cause you angst. He will suggest ways to make your difficult job easier by consulting with others and discuss why and how and to terminate patients. The goal of the workshop is to help you better manage your private practice so you can focus on the clinical aspects of your job. (This is a reduced workshop of four 90-minute interactive sessions beginning in June.)
