Presentation Description:

In response to these challenging times the Desert CAMFT Board has been thinking of ways to support our members and our community. We have been hearing from our members that one of the biggest professional challenges being faced is how to transition into an online clinical practice. Thus we are sponsoring a free presentation on Friday that addresses the challenges of working online.

Our discussion agenda:

1)      Discussion of online platform possibilities.

2)      Online session essentials that are different from in person work.

  1.     Preparing your space for online work.
  2.     Helpful attitude shifts.
  3.     Payment/billing.
  4.     Helpful changes in self care as the differences in online work vs. in-     person work may             increase your fatigue, headaches, eye strain, etc.
  5.     Support.
