Effective marketing and social media marketing for therapists that want successful private practices, structure, fees, clients, networking, marketing, social media and videos.
Professional Biography:
Sherry Shockey Pope is Chief Operation Officer and Co-Owner of Central Counseling Services, a successful and vibrant group practice in Riverside, CA. She has been licensed since 2000. Her group practice serves about 625 clients which translates into over 1250 client sessions monthly. Sherry oversees the day to day operation of the practice in two locations and she directly supervises associates, licensed therapists and the support staff. Her practice consists of 23 clinicians and 3 support staff. She created Therapist Practice in A Box (Therapistbox.com) because she wanted to fill a need in helping graduate students and newly licensed clinicians build their foundation in business. Sherry breaks down the clutter into doable actionable steps. She also coaches therapists in create successful, profitable and flourishing practices. Therapist Practice in a Box, the Book she authored is a step by step guide to build a private practice. This book will save therapists a great deal of time, frustration and money. Sherry totally believes in reaching out and joining with other therapists to create thriving healing communities. Sherry has presented at various conferences, for professional organizations such as CAMFT, AAMFT, NASW and CAPLCC and the Public Child Welfare Training Academy for Professional Excellence (California State University San Diego Foundation). Sherry sees the big picture and breaks down complex and confusing subjects into smaller digestible pieces. She often includes audience participation to demonstrate a particular point and reinforce learning.
