2. The major domains of Biofeedback 3. Modalities and equipment used in Biofeedback 4. Conditions most often treated using Biofeedback (break) 5. The route to offering Biofeedback in your practice

Bio
Dennis Sapire, J.D. Ph.D
Dennis Sapire, J.D. PhD, practices as a Clinical Health Psychologist in Rancho Mirage. He is credentialed at Eisenhower Medical Center and is one of few psychotherapists in the Coachella Valley who offer Biofeedback. He graduated in law from the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa in 1978, did his undergraduate psychology at UCLA, and completed his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (emphasis, Health Psychology) in 2002 at the California School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles.
Dr. Sapire has been certified in biofeedback since 2000 having been trained in multimodal biofeedback, eeg-neurofeedback, HEG, and rehabilitation biofeedback. He is a member of the AAPB (Association for Applied Psychophysiology and Biofeedback), and most recently attended their 2016 Annual Conference in Seattle, WA.
Dr. Sapire’s practice consists of general adult psychotherapy, medical psychology, biofeedback, psychosocial/psychosexual recovery from medical challenges, and sex therapy. Other areas of interest include golf psychology, litigation support, and mediation.

This course meets the qualifications for two (2) hours of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. Completion certificates will be awarded for full attendance of the event.
Course evaluations are required to obtain the completion certificate.
The Desert Chapter of CAMFT is approved by the California Association of Marriage Family Therapists (Provider #62275) to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and LEPs. The Desert CAMFT Chapter of CAMFT maintains responsibility for the course and its content.
The Desert Chapter refund policy allows for refunds that are requested three (3) days prior to the date of the Event.
